Catia co-founded Volta Circle alongside the Lohia family, driven by her passion for creating tangible and sustainable change through backing like-minded entrepreneurs. As managing partner, Catia spearheads all investments at the firm. For the past 30 years Catia has been relentless in promoting sustainability, whilst transforming and investing in world leading companies such as General Electric, Gucci Group, JAB Luxury, Coty and several private equity firms; her roles have spanned business development, M&A, and human capital executive level positions. Today Catia serves as a non-executive and advisory board member for a number of consumer companies.

Alex joined Volta Circle to invest in early-stage companies at the intersection of innovative science and sustainability. Previously, he developed and led sustainability-focused investment strategies at the Schlumberger family office and Pragma, a multi-family office. Alex is a Chartered Accountant, having spent seven years in transaction advisory and audit at EY, and holds a Masters in Chemistry from Durham University, where he contributed to published research.

Megan joined Volta Circle to support investment and growth across the firm, combining her experience in sustainability, business development and early-stage companies. Previously, she worked in sustainability consulting at Accenture, advising multinational companies on environmental strategy, new business opportunities and long-term value creation, and led business development at a technology company focused on environmental behaviour change. Megan holds a BSc in Human Geography from Cardiff University.

Ben joined Volta Circle to work at the intersection of science-led innovation and responsible investment. As a Senior Analyst, Ben focuses on financial due diligence, investment research and deal sourcing. Prior to joining, he worked in London as an Investment Analyst at a deep-tech focused VC firm covering origination to execution. Ben graduated from Durham University in 2024 with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences having worked in buy-side equity research on both biotechnology and sustainable equity funds.
